Healthy Start Program
Healthy Start is designed to serve children, youth, their family members, and the community. The program provides comprehensive school-integrated services and activities to meet the desired results identified in the areas of:
- Family Support
- Basic Needs
- Physical and Mental Health Care
- Health Insurance Enrollment
By coordinating integrated service delivery through community partnerships, Healthy Start connects children and families to need support and services designed to:
- Ensure that students receive the physical, emotional, and intellectual support needed in school, at home, and in the community, including the targeted population of low-income, English Language Learners, and foster youth.
- Helps schools, other child, and family serving agencies integrate their programs to provide more effective support to schools, children, and their families.
