Course Description
We will also focus on improving our reading levels, editing skills, grammar precision, and our writing abilities. We will explore our voices and determine ways to express ourselves from writing to art to music. Working within the four Language Arts genres (Narrative, Expository, Response to Literature and Persuasion) and Common Core Standards, we will also analyze and evaluate others’ expressions of literature. For class novels, we will be reading Bang! The Outsiders, and The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian.
