welcome to Le Conte Middle School I am mrs. giambra program coordinator I'm happy to answer any questions you have about LeConte is I have been either a teacher or coordinator here for the past 17 years we offer a variety of programs to support your students here at in addition to our home school options we also have an sas dual language and two magnet programs to choose from is your home school don't have to apply separately just come on by or call to get enrollment information your student will be supported by our highly qualified teachers regardless if they are English language Learners special needs gifted or just trying to figure out what their interests are teslacon is not your homeschool or you know that it starts environment is for you to our sin for enriched studies communication Arts Magnet besides the Arts integration in your daily classes you may have the opportunity to participate in activities such as painting murals with Arts Bridging the Gap create a superhero with project superhero or write your own personal play with young storytellers sponsored by Paramount Pictures if you know that a science invite is for you then you may apply to our health engineering applied Science and Technology Magnet besides the math and science integration in your daily classes you may have the opportunity to participate in activities such as the Somerset Academy sponsored by Kaiser were you will engage in a public health project with medical and college students or take steam Academy college courses to Los Angeles Trade Tech Community College or even learn about the medical field at STEM Academy of Hollywood Bernstein's medical simulation lab our school for advanced studies is open to both our residents and non-residents. this program provides high-quality differentiated instruction with an emphasis on depth complexity acceleration and Novelty all SAS teachers complete professional 2 specifically geared to supporting our gifted learners this year we have introduced our Spanish dual-language program this program is for 6th graders and we'll open up sister Greg next year students will be taught in both English and Spanish in all of their classes and specifically taught in Spanish in their history class as well in Spanish regardless of the program you choose is an inclusive community all of our students have the opportunity to participate in our school clubs service activities and laser after school program Chase visit our school website for up-to-date information and contact us with any questions you may have thank you
