PE Uniform Policy

Dear Parent/Guardian,

This letter is to inform our Le Conte families of the new Physical Education uniform policies.

Students are expected to dress in their PE uniform every day. Part of your child’s success in Physical Education is incumbent upon the daily wearing of the PE uniform; grey shirt, blue shorts or sweats, and tennis shoes. This attire allows for more mobility, greater flexibility, and healthier body; in addition to the development of being responsible.

Policy #1: For every three non-suits, the student will receive a Strike. After the student receives three Strikes, they will not be allowed to participate in the next scheduled grade-level incentive activity. Non-suit Strikes will be added to violations accumulated in the Intervention Office.

Policy #2: If a student does not dress in their PE uniform on a day that Le Conte schedules a Free Dress Day, but a PE uniform is required; they will forfeit participation in future Free Dress Day.

Through positive behavior, honest effort, and excellent cooperation, students will earn special rewards and activities.

Thank you very much for your continued interest and support in your child’s education.
