About Le Conte Bands...
Le Conte boasts an award winning band program, with different classes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. Whether our students are experienced musicians, or interested in learning an instrument for the first time, we have a class for you.
In our band classes, our students learn a wide variety of styles of music- classical, rock, movie soundtracks, Latin, pop songs, holiday songs, and more. Every year, our Advanced Band students take a special trip to Knott's Berry Farm for an adjudicated performance, where our students have taken home trophies reaching the second highest honor that a band can earn.
We have enough instruments that each student is given their own instrument that is theirs to personally use all school year long, including flutes, piccolo, clarinets, oboes, bassoons, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, baritones, tubas, drums, mallet percussion, bass guitar, and more!
