there's one moment that's sticking out where a student he was about to graduate Canon I sat down next to the how are you doing are you excited if you're about to be done and I'm she had tears in his eyes music supposed to be here he's like I'm a statistic don't supposed to graduate from high school that's supposed to go to college and he said I just want to be a better example my siblings and I just had to pause for me growing up in the there was a lot of challenges being being it be gangs or drug activity this is a huge reason why I become a part of Communities In Schools I feel like my colleagues and I give a strong voice to help someone that doesn't have the help anywhere else  I will live in the neighborhood now so I see students have off a little brothers and sisters to school before they come to school or just even transfers and got a dangerous neighborhood so I think getting the school in the morning could be a great Challenge and so it's that we do whatever it takes to make sure that they have those opportunities so that they can Excel and they can succeed Communities In Schools is the nation's leading High School Dropout Prevention Pro we hire passionate Social Service professionals to work inside of our lowest performing highest poverty schools to support the students who are struggling the most to achieve we do this by building relationships with students and families one student one family and time but it actually put themselves in your shoes like they'll try to walk always let your dad even tell us personal stories not think that's a good thing  pleco he just had my back with all when I'm down when I come to school up said he always gets lift up my spirit around talk to me he left me no like oh that's great is falling I know you can do better than that I try my best to encourage them on a daily basis that you could do whatever you want to do can do it you can make it I'm there to help them find their strength remember their resilient and get them to the next step or room door is always open any student that's having an issue during the day came seek us out with my grandmother passed away when I was ready to quit school and he's like that father figure out my life like Macallan here so you are a mom a best friend at the kid depending on with the day calls for the school isn't my second all about putting it out there and grab it off someone else and I got you since no one else has you
