definition of Budapest to have a minimum day on March 22nd just me and you guys enough time to play fortnite all day and thanks again. Zoom meetings in the library on March 19th and March 26th March 22nd and March 29th so now it's time for our teacher in recovery will be interviewing each teacher every month are interviewing today is mr. Hawkins he will be talking about his Lego robotics team ever won in one of his students and who signs computer class we've learned how to code on different websites like scratch and dent star curious now Lego robotics team now Lego robotics team is amazing the kids that are coming in here are amazing they work hard they do everything they can to learn everything there is about programming and Robotics in fact we have more girls on the team this year than ever before which is really exciting to create at least one team and then the second team will be half girls at boys in the 13 will probably be all boys program is garage we have three teams which is going to be more than we've ever had at the Continental School we expect to do really well tournament is to be determined change locations every year but usually we go to tournament sometime in early November and then after that depending on how we do if we do well we go to La Canada High School for the final two years ago we went to the finals and our team came about 50th out of a hundred fifty to really well I felt our last year team was actually stronger in some ways but we didn't make it past the first round and we're still asking ourselves why because they're robotics team and the robot performance was just so exceptional that's the way it goes sometimes though watching you asked me you come to me you see what it's all about and you join and the best thing to do is get into it right now during 7th. So you can learn how to program the robot and how to build the robot when she learned that you can really do anything with the robot but you got to really learn because we go straight into competition season when we get back to school in the fall and within a couple of months were at the tournament so joining is essential but you do it in the string so you can learn all the necessary skills for competition in the fall this is all come see us in the Lego robotics Menthol 10s will be talking about combination text Jaden and my name is under this and all this talk about culmination requirements for us 8th graders if you're excited and looking forward to culmination let's talk about the requirements to do that now the requirements are that you have to have 50 out of a possible 60 credits window and door spring semester in order to culminate and you must have no spells in spring semester because if you do you will go to appeals committee and you have to have a good record in the attendance intervention and counseling office in order to be eligible for combination and now back to our anchors Caitlin and Jaden thank you for watching our news trials next month
